TE RAKAU BUNKHOUSE – PEACEFUL COASTAL ACCOMMODATION FOR BIRDERS & CYCLISTS
The Bunkhouse is a converted railway carriage and sleeps up to five in the one room. There is a generous covered wooden deck. Facilities are a little more rustic than for the Cabins, with a portaloo, an outside bath and wash basin and simple private shower. A funky shed with stable door and covered porch provides shelter for food preparation, writing etc. and cooking is by BBQ/gas ring outside.

Tarrif
$120.00 per couple per night. $30 per extra adult per night and children under 16 years $20 pp per night.
Booking Procedure
Choose your dates and hit the Book button. Fill in your contact details and submit. You will receive an email with your booking details and a request for a one-night deposit. When we see your deposit in our bank, your booking will be confirmed and you will receive an email to that effect. The calendar will then show your booking. The balance of your booking total (if more than one night) is required 24 hours prior to check-in at the latest – you are welcome to pay it with the deposit if you wish.
Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds for confirmed reservations but you are welcome to change dates if they are available. If you have paid a deposit and are unable to come due to extenuating circumstances, your deposit can be held over for 6 months – you may then make a new reservation and we will credit the value of your original deposit.
